John Greer joined HBC in 1988 after spending a year as a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Auckland in New Zealand and several years as a commercial litigation attorney with a large Los Angeles-based international law firm. John's practice focuses on employment-related litigation and counseling and civil litigation. As part of his employment-related practice, John counsels and advises corporate and individual clients on a wide variety of employment related matters, negotiates and prepares employment-related agreements (including employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, employment separation agreements, stock option agreements, employee handbooks and personnel policies), conducts internal investigations into workplace matters, and provides training to both management and non-management level employees on employment law compliance issues.
