Experience
Molly joined Hutchinson Black and Cook LLC in 2022. Her practice focuses on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and pre/post marital agreements. She provides counsel on a variety of planning concerns, including wills, trusts, and estate and gift taxes. She also represents clients in guardianships and conservatorship proceedings.
In addition to her work at HBC, Molly is a dedicated member of the Boulder and Denver legal communities, using her legal expertise and experience in a number of capacities. She is a member of the Boulder County Estate Planning Council and serves as Chair of the Colorado Bar Association’s Orange Books Forms Committee. She is also a regular contributor to various Colorado Bar Association Trust & Estate Subcommittees focusing on estate planning and probate trial and procedure related matters. Molly oversees the Pro Se Probate Clinic for the Boulder District Court, where she also serves community members in a pro bono capacity.
Prior to joining HBC, Molly clerked for the Honorable Andrew Hartman of the Boulder District Court, and interned with the Honorable R. Brooke Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. She also represented Boulder County community members in domestic relations law, housing law, administrative law, and consumer protection through Boulder County Legal Services. Prior to law school, Molly taught organic chemistry laboratory courses at The Ohio State University.
Outside of work, Molly enjoys live music, skiing, professional and collegiate football and basketball, winemaking, and volunteering at the Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies.
