Bill Meyer was elected chair of the International Legal Assistance Consortium (ILAC) at its annual general meeting held April 14-16, 2011, in Lisbon, Portugal. ILAC is a consortium of non-governmental organizations with experience in rebuilding justice systems, which has come together to improve the current international capability to deal with these issues in post-conflict scenarios.
